Production estimates for all three Models vary between 8000 and 10000 cars, but whatever the number produced the success of the Model N’ design paved the way towards fame and fortune for Henry Ford and the Ford Motor Company.

The Model ’N’ was imported into UK by Perry Thornton and Schreiber of London and sold in basic form for £185. The car was very successful in competition winning Gold Medals in reliability trails, speed tests and hill climbs all over Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

In October 1908 Henry Ford announced the successor to the Model ‘N’ – the Model ‘T’ Ford – the car that “put the world on wheels”
